Hub aims to lessen the global transportation and energy crisis by creating a wheel that stores the kinetic energy otherwise dissipated during braking and cycling. This stored energy can be used in two ways. Either by giving the user an extra boost while biking or by powering other goods, such as lamps or lights.

Consumer products are sold to raise funds for HUB wheel fabrication. Sale of these items reduces the purchasing cost for those in need.
